bought this at Whole Food today for a charcuterie board to eat later. Kept thinking about the description of how incredibly good it is. Soooooooo I decided I would take a tiny bite. Well, that didn't work out well. Ended up trying to pace myself on a spoon overloaded with it. OMG this is fabulous and then some. Pulled some New Orleans french bread out of freezer for this once in a lifetime splurge. (although it will be much more frequent)
If you have never tasted it run to the store. Or order it online. Just get it and eat it and that is it.

The egg bites are convenient and tasty, as were the sausage and duck items we ordered but we were very unhappy with the packaging - a huge styrofoam container that cannot be recycled. I know that the items needed to be kept cold but there are greener ways of doing this.

For me the best way to enjoy rillettes de canard is on a toasted poppy bagel spread thick!!

On a scooped out poppy bagel toasted spread on the Rillettes de Canard lean back with a glass of red & feel like you're floating on a cloud. My favorite cocktail time.
