A very soft and delicious pate, although you definitely want to leave it out to room temperature before you serve it. The flavor is so much more distinct at room temperature....

The entire order, plus cheeses and additional salami, plus wine, were offered at a party yesterday afternoon, and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Many commented they had never had the selection of mousses, and for everyone (other than me) the bloc of foie gras was a unique and previously unexperienced treat.

I've been buying their mousse and pate for several years. It is literally the best in the whole country. My personal favorite is the duck liver with pork and port wine. Yum, yum and double yum. Pair it with their little toast slices and pretend you're a fancy person living in a 15th century castle.
You can't go wrong with Trois Petite Cochons!

#1. Great customer service
I had placed my order for 3 containers of the Pate and then realized they would be shipping immediately. I emailed customer service to ask them to hold off on shipping until the next week because I was going out of town…. Unfortunately my email did not get there quickly enough to postpone shipping and it was sent out. As soon as they received my email, they wrote me back and said that they would send me another order (free of charge) the next week when I got back home.
Luckily I did have a pet sitter who came the evening the first package was received and she put the package in my fridge. Because the weather had been so hot, when I got home I wasn’t sure if it would be safe to eat after being outdoors most of the day. So I was very pleased to get the 2nd order a few days after getting home!
I will definitely order again soon!

I ordered several pates in this order, mostly pork, but one chicken and one duck. Every one was delicious and on my buy next list. I like the pates de campagna because you can cut them into slices that can be picked up. But my hands down favorite is this smooth, luscious duck liver with port. Spreads on anything; tasty on anything; even good with a spoon. Thank you.

Your food is outstanding, but your shipping and public relations practices are infuriating. The first shipment of this product arrived spoiled more than a week after order placement and was replaced--with no apologies to either my initial complaints about the long delay in shipping or the demand for a replacement. This is the second time this has happened in the past year. Your New York telephone number produces nothing but an answering machine and emails often produce no response. Why you have adopted this rude practice is a puzzle. You do have competition; you've lost at least one good retail client where I used to be able to buy your products; and until the replacement for my last (spoiled) order arrived, I was about to quit ordering from you and turning to d'Artagnan. Good public relations costs so little and produces such enormous benefits that I'm surprised at your current attitude and rudeness.
