Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 packages Prosciutto 
  • 16 asparagus spears, woody ends snapped off and discarded
  • 2 tbs. unsalted butter 
  • tbs. minced garlic

    INSTRUCTIONS

    • Melt butter; add the garlic and stir. Brush the butter mixture over each asparagus spear.
    • Slice Prosciutto lengthways. Wrap each asparagus spear starting on a diagonal angle from the top to the bottom.
    • Turn the oven broiler to high heat. Lightly grease baking sheet with olive oil.
    • Arrange the wrapped spears in a single layer on the baking sheet/tray; season with cracked pepper. Broil for roughly 5 minutes, or until the asparagus is bright green and the prosciutto is crispy.
