Duck Fat Chocolate Chip Cookies

with Duck Fat - Rendered Duck Fat

​20 cookies


1/4 cup Duck Fat

​1 1/4 cup flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

1/4 cup butter

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Mix the floor, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. Stir with a whisk and set aside.

In the bowl, beat the duck fat, butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until even. Beat in the flour mixture until just it is evenly mixed. Add the chocolate chips

Wrap up the cookie dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

While that the dough is cooling, preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Use a tablespoon to drop the cookie dough onto parchment paper, evenly spaced.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are slightly browned. Let cool and enjoy!
