An essential ingredient in French cuisine, Rendered Duck Fat can be used to saute vegetables, pan sear meats, fry potatoes, and make the traditional confit.
Lower saturated fat than butter (23%, versus 50% for butter). Subsitute for olive oil and butter (only 1/3 needed). Both neutral and flavorful: enhances flavors of the ingredient without changing its core taste. Can be reused.
